Building practical capability in the AI era
Bataung AI Group is an operating platform of Mfolo Enterprise Holdings, bringing together specialist organisations working across AI access, executive capability and brand and digital delivery. Our purpose is to help businesses and learning communities make productive use of AI, with the understanding and support to apply it to their own needs.
Why we bring these capabilities together
A business can have access to powerful tools and still be uncertain about where to begin. Its leaders may see opportunities while its teams lack a repeatable way to use them. It may do excellent work while struggling to explain its value to customers. These needs often meet in the same organisation. Bataung connects the specialist support required to address them, making it easier to move from a business question to a relevant next step.
Our relationship with Mfolo Enterprise Holdings
Mfolo Enterprise Holdings provides the wider portfolio direction. Bataung gives its AI-focused activities a shared point of coordination and a clear market identity. Reframe Intelligence and Adara Studio serve clients through their respective commercial disciplines. SAAN is an affiliated non-profit company with its own mandate, board responsibilities and programme relationships. Each organisation retains a distinct role and a direct route for engagement.

What guides our work
We begin with the work that needs to improve and the people responsible for it. The choice of tools follows that understanding.
AI can support research, production and decisions. People remain responsible for checking the work, applying judgement and approving its use.
Learning is more useful when people can apply it. We connect awareness with suitable tools, relevant examples and opportunities to practise.
Each engagement identifies who is leading, what the teams will contribute and what the work is intended to achieve.
A focus on African participation
We want more African businesses to help shape how AI is used in their markets and communities. That means supporting local business capability, creating space for African builders and widening access to learning. Our contribution is practical: helping people recognise useful applications, make informed choices and develop work they can put into use.
